Just wanted to see what you guys thought about this jersey. Says it's authenticated to July 23rd.2015 when the Tigers hosted the Mariners but after taking a look at the videos and pictures from the game, this jersey does not resemble to the one he had on.Must visibly the one thing that stands out to me is the loose thread on the jersey which I thought would resemble to another jersey I previously bought. Thoughts?

Current auction (http://auctions.mlb.com/iSynApp/auctionDisplay.action?auctionId=986392&pgmode1=teamsearch&pgcust1=&pgmode3=livebid&&qt[0].type=fieldmatch&qt[0].name=*&qt[0].value1=*)

Jersey I purchased last month (http://auctions.mlb.com/iSynApp/auctionDisplay.action?sid=1101001&auctionId=959515)

Wearing the jersey on July 23rd, 2015 (http://image.mlive.com/home/mlive-media/width960/img/detroit/photo/2015/07/23/-d2039b0031a8cbb3.jpg)

Sorry if I incorrectly posted the links (First time posting!)

Taking a look at your jersey I see something interesting, it is tagged "14 48T-1S 2013 358". This tagging would indicate the jersey was either (1) Austin Jackson's jersey from 2013 and had the NOB removed and PRICE added or (2) it was a blank numbered jersey that was issued to David when he was traded to the Tigers August 1, 2014. Either way, I love outlier jerseys even though many here turn their back to them, I think they hold more value.

In regards to your jersey being the one he pitched in on July 23, 2015, 99.99999% no chance it was yours as that one was authenticated and is in the current auction.

Anyhow, you got a steal on that jersey and welcome to the forum!

Not sure what the original post is trying to say...Does the jersey that is currently on auction look like the one he wore on the date claimed on hologram?

I think it might just be me but I went back to watch some of the late innings from that game and the jersey seems different. I tried photo matching it but also was not able to since I couldn't see the stains/ the threads. The game did go for 12 innings so he could have stained it afterwards haha

I think items can certainly get stained after a game. In the case of bats I've seen them piled up on top of each other so pine tar from one can get on others and make a stain you will not see in game action footage or photos. Same with jerseys if a player carries a pine tarred bat back to the clubhouse under his arms or otherwise.
