Wanted to show you guys the display case my buddy & I made start to finish. This one displays 10 bats, has a plexiglass window, and cost a fraction of what the production versions do. If anyone is interested, we are looking to make more. It was a very fun project. Here it is in various stages ending in the final product.

What did you use for the pegs that the bats sit on?

Thanks

Wow ! Can you email me the cost? I'm assuming shipping is a big expense . Looks better than retail! rcmp69@hotmail.com

Funny enough we actually used doorstops. Worked out quite well.

Looks super. The part I liked was the Rawlings bat with the Red handle. Whose bat is that?

That's a Cody Ross bat.

It looks great. Really great. Horizontal display is the best. How did you get the green (felt?) on the backboard? Very happy to see this part of our hobby.

....You did such a great job you may get more orders than you expect. If that's the case I would even buy the plans on how to build it.

Terrific job. I am in the market for a couple of these. I'd be interested in learning more, so please contact me to discuss dimensions, pricing, and shipping rates to Massachusetts. Thanks.

Cases #2 (on the right) came out better than case #1. We fine tuned a couple measurements along with tightening up the trim details inside the case & on the door. Really happy with how these are coming together. I hope to make some for you fine people!
