A seller just posted this item on ebay. Drew Brees Presentation Ball from NFC Championship game.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Orleans-Saints-NFC-Championship-Game-Used-Drew-Brees-Presentation-Footbal-/252119396173?hash=item3ab37caf4d

The same individual purchased this game ball, 1 month ago. Same Game. Different Player.

I believe that Dunbar's ball has been painted over and turned into this Drew Brees ball, which if true, puts alot of game used balls and presentation balls that have been sold by this seller into question.
Dunbar's storage lot was broken up and sold on ebay, which is why his presentation balls hit the market.

Drew Brees displays over 30 game balls in his house, this was one of the most important games of his career, and now this seller has it a month after buying Dunbar's from the same game...

I believe this seller is also another seller who sold some other items including what would appear to be as rare as the Brees Presentation ball, a Payton Manning Presentation ball :

has a "photomatched" seahawks ball :

Romo Presentation Ball :

Patriots Ball "Photomatched" ball :

Pictures posted of both balls from their listing, and another photo posted from inside Drew Brees's home, as found on this CBS news article, with a real presentation ball for comparison,

That was my thought exactly Kevin... Just seems like way too much of a coincidence.

I can't believe that I missed all of the Dunbar stuff. The people who bought the locker had his stuff had it listed in random categories.

There is an ongoing thread about this seller, Wanda Comacho, as well as her 2 other accounts - it is the thread for the " is it legit" game balls.

I purchased a "game used" Saints ball from her a few years ago and her story at the time was that she was the NFLs military volunteer coordinator and that she was getting the balls in lue of payment from the NFL.

It would be a shame if she and her group were really just manufacturing the balls. It would be interesting to contact her again and see what her story is on this ball...

On looking closer, it really looks like the "Drew Brees" has been painted on this ball, evident on the "s" in Brees. I am pretty sure all of the other items on the ball are supposed to be stickers and except for his name, everything else does appear to be stickers.

I picked up an Ayodele pres ball and the whole thing is stickers so I would assume that they would not change this scheme... Makes me wonder for sure.

The other easy thing to notice is that the DUNBAR Letters are stickers NOT painted..

The brees has been painted on... And that would be incorrect..

And yes there is another thread with this person and multiple eBay names.. And multiple issues..

On the Brees ball, the NFC "N" is extremely short. The Dunbar ball has letters that align with the top of the N. Also, the D and R are clearly different on both balls

Oh, I hadn't seen the other thread on this seller before, thanks.

AK will prolly know for sure, BUT didn't he also sell a XLI gameball from Dunbar too?

He also sold a "Big Hit" bat, all of which my modest (not a Saints fan) bids lost.

For anyone to dispute those balls are the same is insane, look at the paint edges on that ball.....identical.

Seeing this stuff just boils my blood, it not only ruins one peice of history but it's done so poorly and blatantly.

Is it really not enough to outbid someone who collects and would teasure something that you buy it,fully intending to destroy it for pure self gain? Not only that, to do such a poor job of research to see if Bree's still owns the ball. Take such lack of care to do it right.

I'll be honesty, if your making 2k plus profit on something, why not spend $500 on a plotter to custom cut decals and use what you remove from the ball to make it as accurate as possible.

The seller has the bat, under the other account. It went for $63.

Also relisted Browns and a Lynn Heckle game ball for several times over orginal price.

A Dunbar Super Bowl presentation ball did go as as well for around $250. The gall of this seller to destroy the NFC championship ball and like you say with such a poor effort is just crazy.

I am glad that you were at least able to put a bid in on the bat as I did not find any of the items until after they were already sold. Hopefully the rest of Dunbar's items went to actual collectors and not just resellers. Sigh:(

They paid $350 for the Seahawks ball.
