NHL did another one last year with a special Katrina patch to raise money for hurrican relief. With many more players then the NHL, the NFL could raise a nice chunk of change for a charity and collectors could get some nice jerseys they otherwise would not have access to

Yep, I would be all for that. Not only NFL, but MLB as well. It is awesome that NHL is having Meigray do all the tagging and record keeping on these new Garth Brooks Kids charity patched jerseys. Great chance for the Meigray faithful to pick up NHL game used jerseys from non-Meigray teams. MLB could do something like this with Mother's Day. They had the pink bats last season. Why not have Mother's Day/Breast Cancer patch for the jerseys and auction them off for charity. It would raise a ton of money.
