The Washington Senators never wore knits. Even the Texas Rangers' first jerseys were front-changed 1971 Senators flannels. This is not game-issued or player-issued by any means. Not sure what it is, but it doesn't belong in anything more than an autographed jersey collection. This and at last one other similar Senators knit, also not game-worn, a Denny Mclain, have been floating around the hobby for decades.

Seller was contacted and offered no response.

Just got an e-mail from old buddy Howard Wolf, who pointed out that the jersey, purported to be from 1972, has a 1974-78 Wilson tag.
