Most if not all of my GU jerseys have the tag sewn in in the other direction. The washing direction part of the tag is on the sewn in end.

Hey the price jump was so no one would buy it until I figure out the tagging. I figured no one would be dumb enough to pay 8000 without proper confirmation so it would be safe in the mean time. That is the correct wash code tag for a throwback jersey. However I have seen hundreds of jerseys including throw backs and never have I seen one seen in upside down like that. It is sewn in cutting off the size and a serial number from being seen so I would say retail not issued. I wouldn't be able to sell it as anything but retail personally.

Denny F'n Galehouse game worn pitchers glove-1940's. Used with the Browns or Red Sox. I actually found this same glove listed on a website of a big time collector who claimed it was Galehouse's glove used in the 1944 World Series, when he pitched 2 games. No way to prove that now I guess.

Picked up 2 bats at the Spokane Indians game tonight

Darius Day black and grey Max bat(model 110) medium pine tar with red white and blue Lizard Skin tape and a knob sticker of some anime character(never seen that before)
The bat came from the team store signed in black on the back and I got him to write game used after the game.

Came from the team store signed in silver and when I asked him to write game used he just signed it again(I don't think he spoke any English)

Always wanted one of these. 2013 main field home plate from yankee stadium. Yankees went 5-2 during a 7 game homestand. Some big things during this homestand included 2 walk off wins, 2 blown saves by Rivera, A-rod first homer of 2013, Miguel Cabrera 3 homeruns, Mike Trout several hits including a homer and Alfonso Soriano became only the third live ball ERA player to have back to back 6 plus RBI games. He ended up hitting 5 homers during this homestand.

That's incredible. I love it. I don't understand why collecting minor league gamers - particularly when you live near the park and can get them in person for next to nothing - isn't more popular...but I guess those of us who do it shouldn't complain. Promote that aspect of the hobby too much and we'd end up paying inflated prices. :D

Speaking of inflated prices, there's been a Paul Goldschmidt ST bat for sale in the little GU kiosk at Chase Field since the beginning of the year. They were asking $800 for it until a couple of weeks ago. At about the time Goldy was named to be a starter in the ASG, they jacked the price up to a thousand. :eek:

Makes me wish I lived in one of the minor league affiliate cities, instead of Phoenix. I had occasion to travel to Alabama a few years ago and stopped in Mobile for a couple of games (free admission with my retired military ID) - bought a half-dozen nice bats in the Team Shop at Hank Aaron Stadium for twenty each and priority-mailed them to myself.

I picked this 05/12/84 lineup card off ebay the other day. When I initially saw it offered, the date didn't didn't jump out at me so I checked Baseball Reference & noted that the Orioles got thumped by Oakland 12-2 that day and that Cal Ripken Jr. went 1 for 3. I then happen to notice that Jim Palmer pitched the last couple innings in this game ("mop up duty") and gave up a few runs.

It then made me think that this was approximately the time that Palmer retired that spring and in checking Palmer's page on BB Reference, it confirmed that this was his LAST MLB appearance...His name can also be seen written in by the home plate umpre on the card (lower right)...

Keith Bulluck 2001 Game Jersey with 5 repairs, I think I've got it photomatched to the 11.18.2001 game v. Cincy

Frank Wycheck 2001 Game Jersey with multiple repairs and blue paint transfer - I believe this was used against the Lions but can't find a photo anywhere (he had 100 yards and a TD so that's pretty astounding)

1999 Javy Lopez game used home jersey with 715 patch. I collect catchers (Braves, Yankees and Hall of Fame catchers primarily) so this was a nice pick up for the "home team" - I live about an hour and a half from Atlanta.

No Lance Parrish items. It's a budding collection - I've been focused on the baseball card side for a while and just in the last few months started pursuing game used items. I've had a 2003 Ivan Rodriguez game used bat for a while and have a lot of Brian McCann game used items. Parrish is one that I may have to track down eventually.

Has been one of the busiest years for me and month of July. Picked up some more Mariners GU items and some Absolute Gems to say the least. I even added another "Holy Grail" to my Seattle collection! Sweet auto/GU PSA Jr. bat.

1. A '91-'96 PSA AUTO/GU cert. bat of Ken Griffey Jr. this one is a absolute beauty! Early M's days at that!
