Royals Pat Putnam jersey on Ebay

To give everyone a heads up on this jersey that may think its a Don Slaught jersey from '84, it unfortunately is not. I once owned this jersey at some time and had Lon Lewis look at it to restore it back to Slaught. After inspection by Lon, there was no evidence of it ever being a Slaught jersey so I didnt have Lon restore it.

Not sure if it is a board member, but it is still a nice jersey. Just not what a Royals collector thinks it is.

I take it there wasn't any evidence of a former NOB? The font used for the Putnam name doesn't seem right for that year.

There wasn't, which is why it was never restored back to its original state.

I believe it was a leftover '84 jersey that wasn't used that year, then used for spring training '85.

It's a nice jersey, but I know why Royals collectors like myself by these for- to restore.
