I've been watching this bat, the price keeps dropping but no one is touching it. Has anyone ever seen Pujols use a red logo Marucci bat in a game? If not, any guesses as to what the origin of this bat is?

My gut is telling me to stay away...

I think no one is biting for a few reasons. For starters this bat is from 2013 where Pujols was injured most the time and not very productive. Second, it's cracked really bad with now photo match or mlb sticker. His common GU bats sell for around $1000. $2000 is way too high. You can get a signed GU Athenticated World Series bat for around $2500 to $3000 so why spend $2000 on a crappy bat?

Also the LOA from PSA says "Use by Pujols cannot be confirmed." which is enough for me to stay away from it, plus all the things listed in the previous post.

He's been monkeying with the price, it was listed for $500. He must have seen this thread and the free advertisement and jacked the price up open for a quick sale!

For a few hundred dollars I would probably go after it, but I'm really in the market for a true GU Pujols bat and they are plentiful.

This bat was bought for $380 in Sept than the buyer sent it off for a cert. The pine tar is not consistent with other pujols examples in my opinion. A perfect example of its inconsistency is the picture he posted on the auction...
