Amazing how a game issued McNair jersey mysteriously became game worn after a new owner.

That happens far more often than it doesn't, it seems. The worst are when retail items become "pro cut" or "team issued" then later get sold again as "game worn." Lots and lots of fraud in this hobby/industry.

someone should ask him the question is that the same team issued jersey he just won 2 weeks ago?

It's clearly done with NFL footballs - I bet most of the 'game-used' footballs sold/auctioned were at best, game-prepared.

This guy is sketchy...he lives in my area and couldn't tell game used from a store bought, screened on jersey if his life depended on it. His name is Matthew Kochinsky

If he doesn't respond, here's his facebook info... https://www.facebook.com/MatthewMichaelAuthentication

And his website

I finally took a look at the two listings, and here are my takeaways:

Purchased jersey listing explicitly states not game worn.
Selling jersey listing states game used.

Purchased jersey listing says pro-cut collectible.
Selling jersey listing states acquired directly from the Tennessee Titans.

Pretty lame indeed... At 6'2"ish and 230# do you guys think he would be wearing a 54 anyway?

This guy was a world class jerk me once.

Bought about 3 jerseys from him, when he sold retail jersey 2nds. Tries charging me $45 for shipping on them, then doesn't back down. I refuse to get ripped off because the jerseys sold for a few bucks.

Then he files unpaid item cases, just a disaster.

Moral of the story….don't buy "game-used" stuff off of EBay…..

I have bought many great items on ebay. The Moral of the story would be to do your homework and ask questions.

From what I've noticed on ebay, I'd get more satisfaction throwing a wadded-up tissue at an unpaid buyer than using ebay's strike system. Seriously, did it affect you in any way??

Actually yes it did affect my account, because it was 3 items. Some buyers have account settings that don't allow a person with 2 or more unpaid item strikes to even bid on an item.

Because of that I lost the ability to bid on 10 or so higher end (to mean that's $250+) items. Tried to fight ebay on it, being the same seller and it by not combining shipping he was working around selling fees. Showed them emails where he even admitted that since I got a good price, he couldn't take a loss by combining shipping.

In the end, he got negative feedback, I got screwed over short term as the bidding ban was only 12 months. I never looked at his listings again.
