Need help with Jimmy Smith Jags Jersey

Just picked this up, was supposed to be right from Jimmy himself. Some of the tagging strikes me as odd.

Don't have much to compare it to, so I figured the experts were my best bet.

Shoulders are cuffed, seems to have light wear. Fabric is very strange like a heavy duty spandex. Seems a bit too "well made" to be a retail mass produced jersey.

The tagging might help you. It shows made in El Salvador. Retail "on field" style store jersey is my guess. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

The collar tag and particularly the El Salvador noation cause me concern.

I saw this when it was offered on ebay, started to compose a note to the seller to point out it was not possibly ever worn by Smith, but stopped. For the price, it was not bad for what it is. But as pointed out, no way is it anything the Jags wore. Size is wrong, tagging is wrong (retail) as others said.

To put a cap on this, seller could not have been better. Offered full refund with shipping, but we came to a very agreeable price on the jersey with a partial refund.

Rare and refreshing to be dealt with that way, never once objected. Said that he bought it as game used, apologized for the error.
