Wilson jerseys has "proline" written on the bottom tag, but this one has "prestige"

The "Prestige" tag is the standard (though not exclusive) manufacturer's tag or most MLB teams and a handful of NFL clubs haat firt appeared in 1986 and was used til around 1996.

On the "V" of the collar, does it look like the NFL Shield was removed? Some of the games from 1994 didn't have the shields on the jerseys.

This is the throwback style, hence no NFL shield. (And no numbers on the sleeves or shoulders.) I had forgotten that the 49ers wore these many times in 1994. Since they were playing well, they kept wearing them, game after game, all the way to the Super Bowl.

So Steve started all 16 games in 1994. One would think the jersey would show game wear. From the pictures it looks like very little use.

Sorry for the confusion bud. I purchased this jersey knowing that it's not a gamer and just wanted the jersey to wear to games. I was confused by the tagging and style of the jersey. I wasn't sure if it's an issued or retail jersey.
