If so, post it, and if you have a link to the sale, post that too
thanks

That doesn't include the vig of 15%... So the final on that Brady jersey was $46,000. You can view the final hammer on Hunt's "prices realized" list

Thanks for clarifying.

When you are talking 40 grand the BP is still a large sum. 6,000 can net you some good quality items. I guess though if your dropping 40 grand the extra 6 g's is irrelevant.

Didn't one sell on NFL.com for a ton of money too?
You can tell me I am playing favorites because its in my auction, but I think with the rarity of this jersey (ONLY 2 KNOWN, other one in Patriots Archives, NONE ever been sold to public) and fact its from a Super Bowl Championship year, THIS ONE should break the record....
and if it doesn't, its a steal
right now its under $10K

I don't think it will break the record of the Hunt auctions one but it might be close.

Have to remember, that $40k Brady had a lot of things going for it:

* 2011 was a Super Bowl year for the Pats
* 2011 jerseys had the Myra Kraft patch
* if Brady won that SB, he would have tied Montana (Pats were favored)
* that jersey was in the Hunt SB auction

Given those things, the price got substantially inflated. I have to wonder, if that auction had ended a week AFTER the SB, what would it have sold for? If that jersey went to auction again tomorrow, I'd bet it sells in the $15k range.

Then again, his matched 2009 white AFL jersey just closed for $17k, which is a STEAL, and was worn for one game. It's the only white AFL Brady in existence...

Summary: who knows!! :p

Well, whether its $20K, $30K, $46K or $50K...I hope people here are on it
it is a true one of a kind rarity for the most sought after QB.

The home blue one w/ HOF patch is by far the nicest one IMO...hardly ever see the home blue that's REAL...AFL Legacy, Road Whites and Silver are still nice, but nothing beats a home jersey :)

Is there anyway to see who the high bidder of a Goldin auction is? I won half of the Reggie White 'Number 1' award at the estate sale but the other half was sold at an Goldin auction last year.

What happened to the Goldin Auctions Tom Brady? I cannot seem to find the auction anymore.

The Brady jersey has been withdrawn due to a title claim
Until the matter is resolved we cannot move forward with the auction.
Yes, I am bummed.

Ken, does that mean that someone reported it as stolen or something similar? I'm just wondering how that works.
