I have a Clayton Kershaw game used camo hat from Memorial Day and 4th of July 2012, it is authenticated by MLB. I then had him sign it, and PSA authenticated it just after he signed it.

What do you think the value would be on this hat?

Thanks

I'd say at least $200 and perhaps close to double that.

That's if he pitched that day. If not, I'd put the ceiling on it at $300.

I would say, without knowing what he did on those days, that your hat is worth more than $300. He is more popular than ever right now and you would be crazy to take less than that.

According to Baseball Reference Kershaw did not pitch on July 4th, 2012. I agree with the others that Kershaw's popularity is stronger now than ever, though I personally could not justify spending $300 on a signed bench worn cap. Perhaps others could, but that seems too high to me. Regardless, if you are considering moving the hat, now would be a good time to take advantage of his peaking performance.

Thanks for the feedback, at that price I will hold on to it. I am into it for more than that.

No doubt, never know when hes gonna pull a Matt Kemp and the value of his stuff will drop like a rock! I like Kemp a lot and am probably the last person besides his mom that believes in him, but man did his stuff take a hit in value these last 2 years
