I don't know why I cant remember this, but could someone please tell me what year this helmet code is.

Its stamped in a Shutt and the number is 033476M.

What does the M stand for?
Thanks!

I think it translates to the 347th day in 2006 (December 2006). The M may indicate size (medium). I'm not certain it holds true, but it's similar to the stamps in Riddell shells. Other thoughts?

Thanks for the input JDubbs! The helmet is a size large so I do not think that M represents the size.

I have another Shutt that was used same season (2002) and photo matched that has this number,..130921HL. There is an H where the year number should be.

Now Im really confused.

Thanks so much Helmets! That's exactly what I needed.

I guess it is safe to think that the M stamp was a mistake as it also has "Pro Air II Large" on the rear?

So, how do you tell if this helmet was made in 96 or 06?
