I am thrilled that Andre Reed has been selected to the hall. He could not be more deserving, one of the toughest and humble receivers of his era.
Posting a game worn jersey of his that shows good use, congrats to all new enshrinees.

Great Strahan's jerseys & helmet, also nice Reed.

GMEN, I like your displays, what are you using as the mannequin in the jerseys?

As a huge Raiders fan,its good they finally put the punter Ray Guy in the HOF.Most people say he is the best of all time & I would agree with them

Thanks.
And yes it's like a half mannequin .. Cheap to 40$. Comes from profile jersey display.
Then just custom mounted them to top of the case.

Strahan is well deserving of a HOF nod but how can Charles Haley not be inducted? 100 sacks, numerous Pro Bowls and 5 Super Bowls! His trade from the 49ers to the Cowboys turned the balance of power in the NFC from the 49ers to the Cowboys. He is the only player with 5 rings! He played in 7 NFC championship games over an 8 year span.

Having sports writers cast the ballots makes no sense. The players need to have a voice. The process is a joke if Haley is not elected. I cannot fathom how the number of rings is not taken into consideration when evaluating a player like Haley. He was such a disruptive force on the field and that fact should be counted not the fact that he was a disruptive force off the field.

Always buying 49er gamers!

I agree, I think Haley should be in as well, but I think that some don't think he played well enough in the regular season, which doesn't make sense to me.

Where I disagree with you with is that having sports writers cast ballots makes no sense. Why do you feel that way, just curious? If its bias, you can say the same thing about a players vote. Granted, a sportswriter may not cover a particular player or team that much, but the same could be also be said for a player. Unless you're in the same division, an NFL team may only play against one another once every couple years.

I shared some of your same feelings about the HOF vote many years ago, but after some research, found that the process is anything but a joke to the committee that votes on the HOF. I'm sure you know a lot about the process, but if you don't, you'd be surprised about how much they care and what goes into the process and their vote.

There are many people out there that think the vote is a joke and they let anyone into the NFL HOF, which couldn't be further from the truth when you consider how many players have set foot on the gridiron.

Just my 2 cents, I love a good HOF discussion, can't wait to see more jerseys.

How about letting all members of the Hall vote? Like the Heisman.

A possible idea, but that would mean that all the members of the HOF would have to follow the NFL very closely like its their job, otherwise how could they vote properly if they don't know enough about a player?
