I was able to add a Jordan Zimmermann bat hammered with use, a Ryan Zimmerman bat, Jordan Zimmermann hat marked as used for batting practice but due to the use I have a feeling it was used more than just for bp, and two pairs of Jordan Zimmermann game used pants from 2011 that show nice use.

A few Royals Fan Fest pickups this morning...

A few locker name plates from Spring Training of Noel Arguelles and some of my Fantasy Camp Alumni coaches (the Dennis Leonard plate was signed this morning as well). The hat is a 2012 Stars and Stripes gamer hat of Billy Butler.

The Hosmer bat is absolutely hammered with heavy use and MLB authenticated to a 6th inning break against Ubaldo Jimenez on 9/9/2013. Bat died a hero on a broken bat single. I am fairly certain I also have the bat photo matched to a 3-4 with a 3 run home run the day before on 9/8/2013... That was Hosmer's 49th career home run.

Thanks... Wow! I can't believe that you got two pairs of Zimmerman's game used pants. I have been looking for a pair or two of Kurt's pants for quite some time now. I would think that there would be more pants than jerseys available for most players being that they would incur more damage than jerseys. Good luck with your Zimmerman collection.

You are so welcome for those pickups! The pants, caps, helmets and bats were in very small supply. The jerseys were there in large quantities but as a friend said after the 1st 30 minutes the supply was back to ex-players and coaches.

What I will say is that I found a cap I hadn't seen before and which wasn't previously available. Sometimes I think they are in box or shelf somewhere and show up eventually.

I was at Orioles fanfest yesterday and the supply of caps and jerseys were large but nothing was hologrammed. I will say that some jerseys we couldn't locate during the season ended up in the piles there. A few members here got some amazing pieces.

Hopefully some more will share their pickups.

Couldn't be happier with my recent pick-up that just arrived today. 2003 Cincinnati Reds alternate Sunday jersey of the late Dernell Stenson. I have been looking for an appealing 2003 jersey for awhile due to it being the first season in GABP for the Reds and was extremely happy to stumble on this. This was the last jersey that Dernell wore during the 2003 season and went 2-4 with a HR as well. RIP

Being a Cardinals fan, I absolutely hate the Brewers, but I've always respected Braun's game. Even with the steroid nonsense, when he's on the field he plays the game the right way, and I respect that. In my mind, I class him into the Bagwell, Biggio, Sean Casey, Mark Grace, type players... They played on rival teams, I loved to hate them, but at the same time respected the heck out of them.

I picked up this Joey Jones USFL jersey on Ebay yesterday. Jones was a star at Alabama and is now the head coach at South Alabama. The guy who sold it to me bought it at a thrift store for $10! After a ton of research I am all but certain its a gamer. The lettering on his name is in line with what the Stallions used in 1985. I have struggled to find pictures of the Stallions wearing the Red Jerseys in 85 but I did manage to find a video of a preseason game where they wore the red jerseys and a picture from a game against San Antonio that I think has to be from the 85 season. The jersey has been hemmed and that resulted in the Russell tag being removed. I was able to find a Joe Cribbs stallions game jersey where the same alteration had been made. So the lack of a tag didn't bother me as much. Can any of you spot any flaws in this being an actual game used jersey?

I even dropped Coach Jones an email and he said it passed the eye test.

Was able to pick up a Brett Marshall Game Used spring training hat from 2013...Brett is from my very small town in S.E. Texas, I've known him since he was in t-ball and he played ball with my brother all the way through high school so it's really cool seeing someone you've known for so long finally get a shot at the pro level...he's now with the Cubs so hoping to pick up some new items this year

I agree, it had to be from 1985. The font does not match their 1983 or 1984 jerseys but does match my 1985 white Stallions jersey. I was interested in this one but could not find any footage or pictures where the Stallions wore red jerseys with a wide mesh like this one in 1985. Could find pictures from 1985 where they wore narrow red mesh jerseys. I thought it was a team issued jersey at the least and possibly game worn but could not find a game where they wore this style. There were games from 1985 I just couldn't find any pictures or footage of.

Derek Jeter - 2 Home Run bat / 2002 Playoffs:

I'm late in posting this from awhile back; a bat I was really happy to acquire as I had only seen a couple of other post-season Jeter HR bats previously in the marketplace - the Mr. November bat and the Jeffrey Maier bat, at least that I am aware of anyway....
He hit home runs in Game 1 and 2 of the 2002 ALDS with this bat, the 10th and 11th of 20 career post-season home runs. And also the letter signed by Jeter is unusual in that it spells out the details of the specific games, dates, innings and pitchers the home runs were hit off with the bat.

Picked up a couple things from the Lightnings equipment sale today. Ive been looking for a game used helmet and came across this Fredrik Modin and also picked up a stick from the greatest Bolt to play Vinny Lecavalier.

I agree, it had to be from 1985. The font does not match their 1983 or 1984 jerseys but does match my 1985 white Stallions jersey. I was interested in this one but could not find any footage or pictures where the Stallions wore red jerseys with a wide mesh like this one in 1985. Stallions wore the red fishnet against LA in 85. http://beta.usatodaysportsimages.com/preview/5748714. They also wore red against San Antonio and in a preseason game against Houston. They wore white in at least 14 games. I have not been able to find photos of two games (Memphis and Baltimore).

Picked up a Frazier 2013 road jersey (same jersey he was wearing in Pittsburgh when I met him with a friend of mine) and pants.

Game used bats of Griffey from 90, Glenn Braggs, Jeff Reed, Jose Rijo and Hal Morris. Bats have much more use than what pic shows.

I picked up an unbelievable 2010 Minnesota Twins Mlb Authenticated Game Used Target Field Innagural Baseball that was bit by Joe Mauer for a single, and then bit for an RBI Double that scored Mauer by Justin Morneau. It was then pitched to Kubel in the dirt and taken out of play. It shows amazing use and the logo is still in great shape! Oh yeah, it was used on the 4th of July too!

I also picked up a 2006 Signed Joe Mauer Game Issued Bat that was a gift to Andruw Jones. Authenticated by Celebz Direct.

It's a size 52 but appears to have been shortened to a size 48 length. He joined the team late in spring training, maybe they were out of size 48s an had to alter a larger one? Shows signs of use and washing too.

Got this beauty in today. Comes with a Broncos LOA. Thomas wore on 12/23/12 against the Browns. Shows heavy use and staining. He had 9 catches for 102 yards and a score!

Just picked up one of my best items I own. A Justin Verlander Game Used Jersey from a win on April 12, 2012. I want to thank a fellow forum member Cody Barton with parting with it and being nothing but class. Also Ken Woltersdorf for helping me try to match it. Jersey was used for a complete game win vs KC. The cool thing is, the jersey was auctioned off as game used due to the equipment manager saying it was used, however, it was marked tea, issued. I knew the jersey was good due to lining up the patches I just couldnt match threads because I couldnt get close enough... I was lucky enough to photomatch it to a CBS sports image from the game in which I could zoom incredibly close. A prize piece of mine.

Pretty stoked about my latest pickup. I was planning on waiting a few days until I get a few other items but thought I'd post this now.

Todd Frazier's game used glove from 2012.
Its hard not to find a match when looking at photos from 2012. Also matches 5 of his baseball cards as well.

Will try to upload better pics when a few other Frazier items arrive!

1982 David Overstreet - Montreal Concordes CFL Helmet - Photomatched to a Concordes Magazine Cover.

Overstreet a former Oklahoma Sooner Running Back under Barry Switzer was drafted in the 1st Round - 13th Overall pick in the 1981 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins. A contract dispute sent him to the CFL, prior to returning to Miami in 1983.

Sadly, David's career and life was cut short in June of 1984. Passing away due to a car accident at the age of 25.

Thanks! I agree on him being a class act. I went to Pittsburgh with a couple of friends and we were heading to the bars well before game time. We were walking down the sidewalk (wearing our Reds gear) and someone popped their head out of a car window and yelled LETS GO REDS! It was Todd Frazier.

Got to the game and had really good seats and he came over and said hello and took a pic with us. Couldn't have been a nicer guy. Ended up landing the jersey he wore while we were in Pitt a few weeks ago and since then I've bought a ton of his stuff. Now I'm just hoping he doesn't leave or get traded anytime soon!

Just picked up an AFL San Diego Chargers Jersey with quite a bit of Chargers history. This was worn by Orlando Ferrante during the 1961 season. This was their inaugural season in San Diego having just moved from LA after one year. The Jersey was worn for all season home games, winning the 1st western division in SD and worn for the AFL Championship that was played in San Diego's Balboa Stadium at the end of the season. This is the first ever AFL/NFL Football Championship played in SD. As you can see it was incredibly preserved for 53 years. It was stored in total darkness which helped it retain the rich original luster of the Gold and Blue team colors with little to no fading after all these years.

Picked these up at separate times. Just really happy to be able to get them in the same collection.

2001 game used first bases - MLB certified. Last ever hits for each of Ripken (October 5 - 3,184) and Gwynn (October 6 - 3,141). Both are signed, but Gwynn is relatively light.

Trying to determine the best place to display. Running out of space.

I wish. Unfortunately zero chance of that. When he was in the minors he used a Phoenix company bat that was branded with "Hard Rock Maple" on a maple leaf logo. My understanding is that back then Phoenix only used the Phoenix branding on major league bats and for minor leagues and below they used the HRM branding. Upon his call up he used the Hard Rock Maple for the first two or three games, before his first shipment of Phoenix branded bats arrived. He got two hits in his debut game...
