cowboys tagging?

there is a jersey on ebay from the 70s of lee roy jordan and the tag is southland athletic mfg. co.terrell,texas and has a size 42 tag under it.does anyone know if they produced jerseys for the cowboys? tia

I used to collect Dallas jerseys and yes Southland did manufacture jerseys for the cowboys for many years in the 60s and 70s, but look at the tagging. It appears brand new...right off the shelf. If Lee Roy wore this in a game he must have worn in out to the coin flip and then taken it off on the sideline for another. This jersey could have been his...but worn in a game....highly doubtful.

Go out to www.greyflannel.com (http://www.greyflannel.com) and look at their recent auction. They have a Dandy Don and a Bullet Bob Hayes jersey that should have Southland tagging.
