Has anyone been able to successfully remove a signature from a mesh jersey without damaging the material? I obtained a players' jersey that was signed (legitimately) on the front number by a teammate who did not wear it and I don't want to display it with the autograph visible. Just wondering before I start experimenting with cleaning solutions like Oxi-Clean or Goo Gone. Thanks for any opinions.

There are a few thread about sharpie removal. Do a search under sharpie removal.

Thanks Hawaii Sports Nut. It seems past threads mostly pertain to removal of writing from a tackle twill number. Is there any expert perspective on a mesh jersey with mesh numbers which looks to be signed in black sharpie (not paint pen)?

My local dry cleaner was able to wow me with sharpie removal off a number of jerseys, mesh included. Reach out to your higher end cleaners for advice.

How much did they charge? I wanted to get one on my Suzuki jerseys done. I don't trust doing it myself.
