Hey All,

I'm curious if you guys think this is a gamer? The seller says "This jersey "vest" has no tags showing size, cleaning instructions, distribution company or country made.". I'm really wanting to know since I've never been able to find a Ken Harvey major league game used jersey to buy and he's my favorite player of all time.

Any insight at all would be greatly appreciated.

Happy Holidays,
Ethan

This Greinke has the tagging I've seen typically on the vest styles... The Harvey doesn't look right to me, but I can't immediately disprove it, just gut reaction.

Thanks Wes! I think I owned that Greinke jersey you used as an example at one point... Haha.

Sorry for the rapid fire... I will say the Harvey does appear to have the right patches, lettering font, triple color shadow, etc... so its not a cheap knock off... but would feel better if it had the proper tags or looked like they were there at one point and potentially removed by the player..

I own this A8 rated MEARS Shawn Camp vest from 2004.

Everything looks identical to mine sans the Russell jock tag and size tag. Harvey isn't exactly the type of guy who'd be faked, there isn't a real calling for his game used jerseys. I'm not saying it isn't real but I'd be a whole lot more comfortable if some kind of photomatch of him showed up. Ideally, somewhere there is a photo of him with his jersey out in game or in the locker room showing the tag missing. Considering it's apparent lack of wear and no tag, my unsolicited advice is buyer beware.

I wish you luck in finding Ken Harvey more in line with more known exemplars.
