MS Auctions on eBay is nothing but a scam artist - they sell mostly Minnesota Timberwolves so called game jerseys. They say they buy the blanks from the team and have their people stitch the numbers and letters on them. What they fail to mention is this is all a lie and they do this themselves. They also don't say that they use the numbers from replicas not the mesh numbers they are implying in their listings. They keep making Garnett, Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio jerseys and passing them off as genuine 2012-2013 (Garnett 2007).

I won a Rubio jersey (was going to have it signed) and when it arrived is was junk. Wrong numbers and the tagging was from 2011. They try and dispute the fact that they show a blurry picture of the number but its made to resemble the mesh numbers so a blurry picture does you no good. Paypal will get your money back but it's still a waste of time. They have a high feedback score because they sell a lot of stuff but read their negatives and its all because they try and get away with the replica numbers.. eBay is getting so bad..

masauction (Mitchell Schumacher) has been doing this for awhile now not just with basketball but with baseball and football.

Here is a post from 2009

eBay is getting so bad..

For the most part I agree. There are some good deals to be had but you really gotta look and be careful. The way people take pictures these days can make a fake item almost look legit.

What bothers me the most about ebay is that they can be so quick to take down fake ipods or iphone but will almost never take down a fake game used item.

eBay and Paypal don't take action against these sellers unless they have to rule on a case. If the seller ends up agreeing to a return nothing happens so they can just resell the bad item.

Is Mitchell ever going to jail??? Or did someone just keep posting crap for him while he was in there?

The plea agreement states that in early 2005, Schumacher obtained “hundreds” of jerseys that were not game used and had them altered by swapping numbers and names, changing the shape of jerseys and adding patches or other identifiable marks. Court papers say Schumacher admits he then sold them to Horne, knowing Horne and others “intended to re-sell, consign and auction the jerseys to sports trading card companies and other buyers by falsely and fraudulently misrepresenting to the buyers that the jerseys were game used.”

Interesting

Is that not what he is doing today ? Only he is selling them himself as "Pro Cut".

This guy is a big problem to the hobby. Just search his name on this forum and you will get several pages of his work.
