I was taking a look at the Kellen Winslow rookie Browns jersey in Historic Auctions- tagged and described as being from 2004, and after a few minutes of research, discovered something amazing

Since Winslow broke his leg in game two and was out for the rest of the year, that would make this the one and only white #80 jersey winslow wore in his rookie season. Truly a rare piece

Being a lifelong Chargers fan, I have in the past been in contact with his father, Kellen Winslow Sr. I will let him know that such a rare piece of his son’s equipment- THE VERY FIRST JERSEY HE WORE AS A PRO- is being sold. I'm sure they'll be interested to hear that.

i think i found a flaw on the jersey in historic i am sure the browns had the AL patch on the left sleeve i see from gettyimages, on the winslow jersey in historic there is no patch on the sleeve that i can see from the pics. can anyone confirm the AL patch if so this winslow is a BS jersey if the pics show it has no patch!

I know that this is an old post but I have the actual jersey from Kellen's first game against the Ravens. Came from NFL auctions and was verified by Browns staffers (with whom I have worked with for a good number of years).
