How'd I do? Picked up the MLB authenticated dugout line up card from Davis' 50th through Jays auctions for the initial bid of $150. A couple of weeks ago the Jays auctioned the lineup card from Ichiro's 4000 hit game - for $4K. I realize that Davis is not Ichiro, but this seems like a steal, right?

That's stealing at that price. I would have thought that it would have gone for more. Great buy!

I'm going to guess the person who picked up Ichiro's "4000 hit*" lineup card was from Japan. The jersey Dice K wore for his first Met victory went for $2520 last month. The Japanese will pay astronomical $$ for Japanese players who are currently active in MLB.

Agreed. I have seen some strong prices for Japanese players stuff. Would live to understand what the forum thinks this card might fetch from an O's fan?

Japanese collectors will pay through the roof for "Japanese players' game used items" and if you can get them to sign in the state along with proper authentication, they will burn a hole in their pocket to get it.

... but small problem -- the shipping cost to Japan is VERY expensive!

and if you got unlucky and deal with a dishonest buyer, you are SOL ... :D
