Early exit for White Sox coach

Home plate umpire Jerry Layne didn’t waste any time getting down to business on Sunday afternoon, throwing out a Chicago White Sox (http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/team/chicago-white-sox/71590?q=chicago-white-sox) bench coach during the lineup card exchange.

Mark Parent was tossed from the game — before the game even started — after trading a few words with the crew chief. Parent was not in the clubhouse after the game to explain what led to the dismissal, but according to MLB.com, the heated exchange likely stemmed from controversial calls going against the Sox (http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20130825&content_id=58342082&notebook_id=58357204&vkey=notebook_cws&c_id=cws) in the first two games of their series against the Rangers.

What's next? Tossing a guy out because he gave the umpire a dirty look in the coffee shop of the hotel that morning?
