UCLA Football Jersey

I just got this jersey off ebay UK for £11 posted ( around $17 )
ive looked into it and found out it could of belonged to a player called Travor Turner and i think its from the 1996 season..but as usual i cant find any pictures of the player :(

so if anyone can tell me if it is a real game used jersey and if i have the right player or not and maybe some pics of them playing then that would be great thanks !!

Contact UCLA's Athletic Dept media relations department. They might be able to find some images of the player from that year that they'd be willing to share.

I've had some luck doing this although some school's are better then others so good luck.

The tagging and fonts seem to match up. If it wasn't worn in a game, at the very least it looks like a team issued jersey to me.

Either way great pick up for $17!

Cheers guys, it does look like a game used jersey as it has repairs done to it, but i always seem to find game used items that are hard to find pics of !! :(

he didnt play alot of football in 1996, here are his stats..

UCLA - One of just two seniors among the defensive linemen (Pete Holland is the other), Travor's experience should come in handy in 1999 ... Made excellent improvement during Spring Practice ... Works hard to maximize his potential ... Excels at pressuring the quarterback and improved in the area of stopping the run.

1998 - Turner played an important role as a key reserve, starting three games (Washington State, Arizona and Oregon) at right end in the 3-4 alignment ... On the year, he made 19 tackles and was third on the squad with eight tackles for loss, including three sacks ... His first career sack ended the Stanford game, a 28-24 victory, and his third sack at Washington preceded the punt which produced Ryan Roques' 77-yard touchdown return ... Turner made seven stops, including three for loss, after Kenyon Coleman's injury at Houston and two versus Arizona, Oregon and Stanford ... He played at least 30 defensive snaps six times, including 46 versus Oregon, 44 at Houston and 43 at Arizona ... Served as a regular on the field goal block unit.

1997 - Appeared in seven games as a reserve outside linebacker ... Made five tackles, including a nine-yard quarterback sack ... Also broke up two passes.

1996 - In his first season with the varsity, he earned playing time as a reserve defensive end in the 3-3 alignment ...Appeared defensively in four games, playing 11 snaps against Northeast Louisiana, 10 snaps at Oregon, six at Michigan and three at Washington.

1995 - Did not see action at outside linebacker during his first year.


i have been looking at games on youtube to try and find him but ive had no luck yet !!
