Let me preface by saying I'm not a baseball collector or a bat expert; the reason I ask is because I possess a bat I'd like to give as a gift, but I'd like a bit more info.
The bat is a Louisville Slugger Powerized C243 cupped-end Brian Giles signature model; under the signature is "Cleveland Indians". The cupped end of the barrel has "22 C243" written in black Sharpie (Giles was #22 with Cleveland), and the knob has "22 C243 34.5/31" on it.
I know that Giles has used various bats throughout his career and was wondering if anyone could help fill me in on any more information they might have.
