Wilkin Ramirez GU/GI Sam Bat

[The Big Red Machine]

I don't know much about this bat, nor the player who potentially swung it but for $40.00 at Play It Again Sports, I couldn't turn it down! The bat is in excellent condition and shows little use other than on one area where I spy what I believe to be lace marks (pictured). Anyway, probably an insignificant item but the circumstances in which I came to own it make it meaningful to me. I was literally just killing time on my lunch break when the gold bat logo caught my eye. Perhaps not a "diamond in the rough" type item, so we'll call it a "quartz crystal in the rough." - LOL!
