I picked this one up awhile ago, but been lax on getting posted.

The bat went into use on Sept.9th, when it was used for his Career Home Run #255. For the moment, last of his career.
The bat is matched to being in use until Sept. 15th when it was cracked and taken out of play.
Jeter collected 8 total hits with the bat (home run and a double), career hits # 3,278 thru 3,285. He also had 6 RBIs, # 1,244 thru 1,249.
As a side note, in these games he passed Mel Ott into 13th place on the All-Time Runs Scored list.
On Sept. 13th he tied Willie Mays on the hit list. Then on Sept 14th (also the birthday for my two daughters), he passed Willie Mays to move into 10th Place on the All-Time Hit List.
It has really great use overall, as Jeter seemed to max out the bat with the wear and tear on it.

I initially had a bad impression of Corey, he doesn't like to sign many autographs and is real quiet while doing so. However, I talked to someone that knows him well and he said he's just a private guy that like to keep to himself.

Cool looking jersey, Mark! I like the fact it was worn for 2 seasons, unlike some MLB jerseys that are worn for one game and sold off. Hopefully it shows a lot of wear. I see that they have the newer heat-pressed Majestic tag but I could not tell whether it is a cool base jersey,

Not a lot of wear as the players had two of each jerseys. Plus the season is only 40 games long. I think Dan had 20 starts over the two years. They changed to Rawlings jerseys this year. There are some loose threads and tiny bit of staining around the shoulders. They are not cool base material. I actually traded the GM of the Heat a Luke Hughes Twins jersey for it. They where selling off the gamers for $300+ last ABL season but I couldn't afford it. Glad to have gotten one though.

Well I wanted to make sure I got something from todays Astros vs. Mariners game because it was the first game that we've ever taken our little girl to, she's just shy of 3 months old and loves to sit and watch baseball with me (even screams during commercials until the game comes back on, and i'm not joking...what more could a father ask for :) ). It was also the first time I've been able to see King Felix pitch in person so I was fortunate to snag one of the few remaining balls that were used today, it was used to start the first inning off with a flyout by Jose Altuve and then a groundout by Brett Wallace....

...Also speaking of the "pick up" category, Orbit came around to visit our little girl and she immediately smiled at him so he picked her up and carried her around a few rows of the section we were sitting in behind the Seattle dugout, showing her off, and even rocking her back and forth....surprisingly she loved it and actually didn't want to leave him haha, def a game I won't forget and now this ball also has another great memory behind it besides seeing one of the great pitchers of this era....sorry to ramble on but I love sharing the stories behind the things in my collection, it makes them all the more special

Just picked up this St. Louis University jersey at Goodwill and believe it to be game worn. It has a 2009 50 year anniversary patch on the back. If anyone has any information on this, I'd love to know! Thanks

A couple of things I've picked up...

Vintage USMC Baseball jersey. Tagging suggest early 70's maybe? I bought it off eBay and when I got it I found very subtle staining over the whole jersey. Wrote the seller and they refunded my money and told me to keep the jersey. I am a former Marine, so I love this thing.

I've picked up a number of items; including a very long sought after Minnesota Pike game used AFL helmet (thanks to Larry Pelliccioni), mid 1980's Illinois Illini helmet (also Larry P), Tony Carter Packers jersey, Rhys Lloyd Panthers jersey, Adam Haayer Vikes and Titans jerseys, and numerous other Minnesota Gopher or Gopher related gamers. I recently picked this up to add to my ever growing Ryan Zimmerman collection. I'm normally not interested in game worn pants, but what makes this interesting is that this was a redemption through Allen & Ginter's last year and the pants also came with the card. Sorry for the pictures, it's the best I can do as I am home recovering from surgery :o The pants are from 2010, MLB authenticated, and show really good wear. There are two spots where they had to be patched, so I'm hoping I might be able to photo match them.

The MLB label? It's authenticated for the signature, so you won't be able to id the period used. I've already tried to photomatch the bat to the date (and previous games) of the signing, but no dice. I thought that the bat code might of helped.

For those who may be wondering why I block the MLB auth#, it has to do with a thread on another forum where they mentioned that fraudulent stickers or stickers that have been removed from the original item and placed on a new item are showing up on eBay.

Haven't matched it to any yet...problem is none of the pics I've seen show any wear on the jersey, and it's likely he wore this but standing on the sidelines. He had I think 6 catches for us.
