Any winners in the Grey Flannel auction? I was fortunate to win the Del Crandall 1953 Braves road flannel. Prices went higher than expected, but a Braves flannel was my holy grail. Will certainly be my last pickup for a loooong time.

I won the 1946 Michigan Wolverines uniform. I was very happy with the price.

I bid on a couple Hershiser items and ended up losing as I went to bed. If anyone on here won the lot of Indians hats or the World Series team signed bats, I would be happy to buy one of the bats from you or a few of the hats.

Shut out this time around. There were a couple items that really caught my eye, but the bids got away from me. Congrats on your pick-ups!

Same. That was some serious money for Junior cleats.

I got the O.J.in the auction for what I thought was a rediculously low price for obvious reasons. I understand why people may find it inappropriate to want to own his jersey, but my collection is the NFL's top running backs, (along with Oakland raider items) so he is a must have. To me he is arguably the greatest athlete of the 70's and the biggest tragedy of the century. The most beloved and then the most hated. even in his infamy his trial will be remember as much as Roe vs Wade and the Scopes monkey trial. I bought it only for his athletic achievements.

I don't think there is any shame in buying an OJ jersey. If nothing else, it makes for a great conversation piece.

I agree. I believe that a historic sports memorabilia piece should be able to stand on its own, based on its significance to the sport and what was accomplished on the playing field.
