Pretty amazing auction!
I don't want to take the spot light away from Ken's amazing auction which is wrapping up but if you collect MLB awards and flannels this is for you.

I know, I was hoping everybody would somehow skip that page.
I'd like to see a full shot of it. Wonder if Ben is going to make a run at it?

Agreed. There will be some good action on that bat.

Well, after one day of action, Wes is out.

This would be a great week for me to win the lottery... Barring a miracle, it looks like my holy grail is going to elude me. My dream bat is a 1991-1993 Kansas City Royals nameplated with massive tar... this could have been it. Sadly, I will probably never have the means to acquire a bat of this quality.

Good luck to anybody still in the running.

I guess I'll always have this picture to remember it by...

They have a sweet 1963 Colt 45's jersey up for auction. Love everything about it except the $5,000 opening bid.

Isn't it odd that the auto is kind of under the tar/wear?

I just think there was so much tar everywhere that there was nowhere good to sign so the sig turned out pretty crummy.

yeah, looks like to me that he signed on top of pine tar so it just didnt take...

Someone was willing to pay $10k on the bat...

I was pretty sure it would set a record for a non-milestone George Brett bat, which I believe it did ... and totally smoked my estimate in the process...

Here is another amazing George Brett Bat - no only hammer and loaded with pine tar but also authenticated by George.
