Ricky Williams jersey in new GF auction with fake auto??? [Archive]

Lot #56 in Grey Flannel's new auction catalog is a 2001 Ricky Williams Miami Dolphins jersey.

I am 100% certain the signature of this jersey is fake. I have collected Ricky Williams items for over 6 years and I have never seen a signature where he signs the #34 inside the tail if the W. Nor have I seen a signature in which there is such a large gap between the R and the W.

I'm new to this whole GU thing, who can I contact with questions regarding this jersey? I was interested in it but I do not believe it to be authentic.

I agree with you, that auto is not right

Not to derail your post, but the W is very phallic looking, especially on the "fake" one.

Its a shame as I have been looking for a Ricky game used jersey for some time now :(

Hopefully it gets taken down. I am not framiliar with JSA, are they reputable in this industry? I notice they have many items in the current auction catalog.

They are 2 different jerseys, the GF one is apparently from 2001, the other one is from 2002. The 2002 one that you linked to is legit.

Also kind of odd that the real one is a 48 and the GF one is a 42. Thats a pretty big size difference for 1 year.
