There's a listing now on Ebay for "Boston Breakers USFL Authentic Football - Painted as 1st Game gameball - COOL". It's a USFL ball painted as a trophy ball from the first Breakers game played on April 3, 1983. However, it is not a game ball from that game as far as I can tell. The date code looks like F U, which makes it July 1983, and there is no comissioner's stamp, which I think all game balls would have. I contacted the seller, but no response or change to the listing. In fairness, it is listed ambiguously, so the seller doesn't claim absolutely that it is a game ball, just that it might be. It's still a nice ball, just not game used.
