has anyone ever seen these white helmets? i have never seen any. this is the first. how long were they used? thoughts?

I think I remember seeing them in the early 1980's. I also seem to think Paul Kinzer had some for sale back in the day.

who is that? yes 80's as this is from 88-89 spring training.

Keep in mind, Paul Kinzer has not been part of Blue Chip Sports for around a decade or so. The company was top notch when he was in charge; the current owners haven't lived up to his standards.

Jeff, I know you know this, but this post was intended to educate any newbies on GUU who weren't aware.

i guess so. i contacted blue and jim told me he doesn't have any helmets nor did he. i guess it will be one of those needle in a haystack searches.
