Hey guys,

Last night I purchased a Philip Rivers game worn jersey that was originally sold through NFL Auction.

Big thanks to Jeremy Coons who sold me the jersey that he picked up from the boards' own legaleagle92481. Jeremy was great to work with and really went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with this purchase.

I believe that I have already found a photo match but I am offering a $30 award to the first person who can email me with something even more definitive, hopefully with a high resolution image.

The NFL Auction listing mistakenly attributed the jersey to the 10/2/11 game vs. the Dolphins.

But J.O. Sports auctioned off the actual Rivers jersey from the 10/2/11 game:

If you compare the grass-stain on Rivers' shoulder to the jersey J.O. Sports auctioned off, you can see that it matches and that J.O. Sports had the correct jersey worn on 10/2/11.

The jersey I bought only had the incorrect date of 10/2/11 in the NFL Auction listing. The PSA/DNA certification number reads correctly as follows:

So my guess is that NFL Auction simply made a mistake about which game the jersey was worn in. I did a bit of homework and believe that I have photo matched my jersey to the 10/23/11 game vs. the Jets.

Here is the jersey I purchased:

The photo match I believe I found is to the right of the front number '7'.

There is a small tear/hole a few inches to the right of that front number '7'.

The holes mesh-holes around the front number '1' and '7' also appear to match.

If anyone is able to find something even more definitive, with the help of a high resolution image - I am offering $30 in immediate payment to the first person able to do so.

My email: gameworncollector@yahoo.com

Thanks guys! :)

I have two people currently helping me out via email.

Hopefully some good results will spring up from this. :)

A definitive photo match has been found.

As such, I will have to close my $30 offer for finding a photo match and thank everyone who took the time to check this thread out. :)
