Minor League Baseball jersey question

I recently purchased a Burlington Indians game worn jersey off of eBay. The jersey has the 100 year MiLB patch on it. I did some research and see that that 100 year MiLB anniversary was in 2001. So...would this jersey have been worn past 2001? If so, they would have taken the patch off, correct?

Also, do teams wear the same jersey's for a couple of years or a new jersey each year?

Some minor league teams have been known to recycle jerseys year after year. I have some as late as 2005 with the 100 year MiLB patch.

so there would be no real way of dating the jersey specifically to 2001?

I have two MiLB jerseys from 2001 and used in years following as well. While both at one point had the 100th patch, it was removed after 2001 (each still has the patch outline). Can't speak to whether the presence of a patch dates the jersey, though; suppose it varies team by team.
