I am soliciting opinions on this George Bell 85 road jersey on ebay.

George Bell Jersey (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1985-Toronto-Blue-Jays-George-Bell-Game-Worn-Used-Jersey-1987-MVP-/190799415461?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3 D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D5739699061400638666%26pid%3 D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D190799415461% 26)

I like the looks of it with the exception of the lettering on the front. My research indicates that the lettering ("Blue Jays") is consistent with the Rawlings jerseys, not the Wilson jerseys. The "E" is way too rounded for the Wilson, and almost looks too rounded for the Rawlings. I thought I was going to put another pastel 80's in my collection, but I am doubtful.

I have asked the seller several questions and have not received any responses.

Thoughts?

Wow, the information on this site is invaluable. I can't believe how much bad stuff is out there.

Collar tag is hideously bad...it should have one more number and should be in white embroidery, not dark blue.

Me being the charitable person that I am, I almost want to buy these pieces to get them off the market. Just like the Thomas BP jersey the other day, it too will wind up in someones hands who thinks it is authentic and then resell it one day.

Maybe that will be my next venture...starting a non-profit that specializes in removing this stuff from the marketplace.

That most certainly WOULD be non-profit.
