Kind of disappointed that it appears that 'Mean Joe' just expects Mr Levine to pack it up and ship it to him and no mention of paying for the costs involved.

I went to college (University of North Texas - formerly North Texas State) at Mean Joe's alma mater and was involved in student council with his son Major Greene. He was a really nice kid and played for the 'Mean Green' Eagles as well, just like his father had.

I also remember growing up in Garland, TX (suburb of Dallas) that Joe was often mentioned as he was business partner in a few groups that brought restaurants like The Black Eyed Pea and On the Border to the Garland area.

The most shocking part of the article, to me, was where the owner states that he was initially just going to send all those boxes to the landfill, without seeing what was inside them. My God, has he never watched an episode of Storage Wars? Or read about some of the fabulous finds that people make in old attics and basements? A few years ago, here in Phoenix, some guy bought a storage space for a few bucks, and inside was a huge collection of paintings by a famous, deceased local artist, worth millions.

Jeff -

A buddy of mine buys Storage Lockers from time to time. He passed on one that was just full of plastic garbage bags and loose clothing - it went for under $75.00 to a clothes 'recycler' (much like Buffalo Exchange)... under the bags of clothes was a nearly new Harley Fat Boy with the keys in it. He kicked himself for weeks for not taking a shot at it.
