Biggio Game Used Hat Question on Inscription

I bought this game used hat and it has "MNSGR DK" on the inside of the hat. What does this mean? I am sure DK stands for Darryl Kile considering on the front of the hat is D.K. and on the back 57 is written. The hat is from the 2002 season after Darryl Kile passed away. Thanks!

Biggio is a devout Catholic, and MNSGR is short for Monsignor. He wrote the same thing on my 2002 Biggio, but I don't know if he wrote it on any other year's cap. Congrats on the pickup; it's a great hap. If you ever want to sell it, LMK.

Ahhh I see! How many of these hats from that season did he have? You would think he would want to keep it.

I looked at this hat too. DK passed away sometime in June 22 2002. So the hat would've been worn after that. I found images of him wearing 2 different DK hats but was unable to match it.

Last year, I did an extensive look through Getty and baseball cards and counted at least seven of these DK hats that Biggio used. Perhaps there were so many on account of different angles of the cap, and that he didn't really use that many. I haven't been able to match my hat, but I'm assuming that he used several.

The Monsignor's name was James Jamail(sp) he was the Monsignor at St. Vincent de Paul catholic church in Houston. He passed away in 2002 the church is near west university where Biggio lives and he is member there.
