I'm nervous about this because it has no tag or year label. Any thoughts from anybody about authenticity?

Rawlings has never made home knit jerseys since the knit era started. Also, Rawlings sleeve logos were first used in 1987, in conjunction with the first contracted uniform supply deal made by MLB. Scott retired in or around 1980.

This jersey sold in Jan on ebay for $54.77 and is now relisted there for $2,499. Photos are exactly the same, new description includes "The jersey shows nice game use including dirt."

Aside from the jock tags, it appears the tag was cut from the neck in one of the photos.

Yes, this is ridiculous. Even if it was a legit Scott game used it would no way command that price. I believe all Sox jerseys from that era were Wilson. The tag stitching clearly indicates a retail jersey.
