I have a mlb authenticated game used baseball from Miguel Cabrera's Triple Crown Game. It is authenticated to the the last inning where he was at bat. It was not hit by him as he strruck out in that inning and did not have a hit in the game.

Since it was such a significant game, I want to get the baseball signed by Cabrera. I am looking for ideas on what to have him sign on the baseball more that just his signature.

Thanks in advance for the ideas.

Cool ... I was at that game. Last at bat was in 4th inning, I think. As I recall, Cabrera came out in the bottom of 4th or 5th to a huge ovation from the KC crowd. Actually, he got a pretty warm reception every time he stepped on the field.

Anyhow, I think I'd keep it pretty simple and to the point. Maybe something like:

"10-3-2012 Last Inning
Triple Crown Season
Miggy"

I wouldnt put what Campwest put of last inning.

As you mentioned miggy had no real involvment in the last inning so its kind of irrelvant.

I would have him sign his name
"Game Used 10 - 3 - 2012"
"Triple Crown - Last Game"

or

"Game Used 10 - 3 - 2012 - TCS"

Obviously the TCS stands for Triple Crown Season

Something like that, but its kind of hard because its a lot to write also

Thanks for the great ideas, keep them coming!!!

My thought was to have having him sign the sweet spot and below write "Triple Crown Game 10-3-12 or 2012 what ever looks better. My other idea is to have him write Game used with the same inscription on the panel above the sweet spot and just have him sign his name on the sweet sport. I suppose the game used wouldn't be necessary since it is authenticated to the game.

Let me know what your think.

I hear ya on the item already being authenticated to the game so why bother with the inscription. I personally just think it looks more aestheticly pleasing when you see the player actually put on the item "Game Used"

"Miguel Cabrera 10/3/2012 clinching game for 2012 triple crown"

Might be better to avoid the specific inning and just stick with refering the game instead

----

Or my other choice would be

"3 crowns can't erase a World Series Sweep"

I'd go with "Triple Crown 2012", I think it looks nice.

I'd say simple would be best. "Triple Crown 2012" would be the best IMO. The crown was won by what he did throughout the season, not necessarily to do with the last game.

Did everyone see MUSEOVEN's baseball?

Triple Corona 2012 is the inscription. He's the first Latino to do it so this is appropriate and great varition of the Triple Crown inscription.
