Does anyone have any suggestions on where I might be able to obtain a #7 decal for my game used Matt Holliday batting helmet (http://www.gameuseduniverse.com/vb_forum/showthread.php?p=300601#post300601)? The kits that you can order from Rawlings are just cheap ripoffs. I would appreciate any help.

Is it supposed to have a decal number?

Yes, for some reason it was removed from the helmet along with the MLB logo. It was sold as a generic team-issued helmet, but I managed to photomatch it to Holliday in the 2011 postseason, including the World Series. I was able to get the MLB logo off of an unused helmet that I have. Now I just need the number.

Email a very polite request to the team front office or the team manager. Send them a picture or maybe just a request and ask for a number.

Stress you are a true collector and want to have the helmet as original as possible which means having the # 7 on your helmet.

They may just send you one!

Have you thought about trying to find another helmet such as 17,27,37 etc.? They are individual numbers.
