Game Used Bat

Question,

So I bought a 2012 Mark teixeira game used bat. Well the bat was created on 8/12/11 but wasn't used till 11 months later on 7/22/2012. So anyone know why Tex would wait almost a year to use this bat? In that year where would it have been, at his house, in his locker, or in storage?

It was probably just in storage. I know the Rangers have an equipment room with all of the players extra bats. Some guys have 6 extra bats, some have 30

This happens occasionally. I received a 2002 Rawlings bat from Moises Alou in 2003, as well as a 1998 Rawlings bat from Brant Brown in 1999. I also got a Ricky Gutierrez bat from 2004 (LS) from an Indians coach that was used by a pitcher in an interleague series in 2008!:eek:
