If anyone has 2001 game used jersey's can you please post the proper tagging they are supposed to have? From what I know at this moment the NFL shield looked like the current style shield, and switch to the "NFL equipment" shield in 2002.

Im not familiar with the tagging of the jersey. If someone is well versed in 2001 jersey's and their taggings can you please post pictures or any information please ... thank you!

The picture I posted without text (a glitch wouldn't allow me to add text in the same post) shows a Seahawks jersey from 2001 with typical tail tagging for all teams. The helmet logo varies to match whatever team the jersey was made for.

Two things to remember:

Many 2001 Rebok jerseys were recycled for 2002 fromm many teams, so the newer logo on the neck and the tag pictured above in the tail would indicate a jersey issued after 2001 or a jersey worn more than 1 season.

Plus, Adidas made a handful of teams' unies in 2001, and I don't have a photo of their tagging available at this time. If I find one, I'll post it, or maybe another member can beat m to it.

The jersey I'm interested in has this tag on the bottom of the jersey as you stated, but is there any neck tagging? "01-48" for example like we saw in the newer modeled reebok jerseys?

Pretty sure no neck tag for the Colts since the year is included with the tail tag.

and that's what was getting to me, it has this same tag on the bottom of the jersey as it should, but I was wondering if there was the need for:

1. neck tagging (ie "01-46")
2. Berlin, WI (origin of the jersey)
