Marucci Bats

Anybody out there know why Marucci labels some bats with Promodel and some custom cut. It would seem that when they use CUSTOM CUT with the model designation they leave off the PRO MODEL. The only thing,that I can think of that the CUSTOM CUT and PRO MODEL are essentially one and the same so it would be redundant to double stamp the bats. These are bats made and used in the Major leagues. Not store models etc.. Anybody have any other ideas ?? Thanks for your attention.

utley has 18 customized bat
CU7 Custom Cut would be his 7th customization

pro model: player selects a known model like people choosing to use a AP5, Pujols Model will say pro model
