Great post!Being a veteran of the Red Sox players parking lot(almost unaccesible now)it is cool to see these pics.The Red Mini Cooper next to one of the shots of the Mercedes belongs to Trot Nixon.Weird seeing a rather big Major league outfielder zipping around in a Mini Cooper!

The answer to the question of why do the Sox players park on the sidewalk is that Fenway park area and the players parking lot are much to small.The players pull up into the players parking lot get out and an attendant parks there cars on the sidewalk that is roped off and unaccesible because of security and Boston police.The Red Sox players parking lot was always i good place to score autographs until recently.The players are just overwhelmed now and generally ignore you if you even get to see them.Except for Johnny Damon.He would sign everyday and for everybody.Although if your smart and fast visiting players are like sitting ducks....
