Just saw this, looks like a really cool jersey, tons of use. I was actually tempted by it, but then when trying to style matched, found one big issue. Pickens wore #80 until 1995. Anybody know what the deal is with this jersey? It looks good except for "1" thing.

Size 48 may be off also. Others from that era were 44.

The 8 doesn't look right either. The 8 from this 1994 game photo looks thicker

I asked the seller if he knew what the deal was with the number vs. year issue. His response: "I'm not sure. I have a coa from sports investments in Cincinnati and this jersey has a lot of use.and proper tagging."

To the sellers credit, he changed the description to reflect the number issue.

Bengals didnt wear sew on numbers until 1997

When I looked at photos from 1994, I wondered about that but could not tell if they were screened or sewn, thanks for the info.
