My now 21 year old son, performed the National Anthem last night for the AAA Lehigh Valley IronPigs on a saxophone. This is the 5th consecutive season he has performed there and we always "time" his performance when the Orioles AAA club, the Norfolk Tides come in. I taped the performance on my iPad and will upload it to YouTube in the near future.

Prior to the performance with Pigs HOF manager Ryne Sandberg in the background:

The actual performance:

Thanks for looking.

I was at the game last night. He did a nice job with it. I did not really see it because I was getting food at the time.

Very cool!

Sandberg's grandson plays in our little league. Ryne gave me two signed baseballs. One to keep and one for our silent auction in April. We raised $430.00 for the American Cancer Society.

His grandson is pretty darn good already and only in Instructional League (4,5 & six year old's)....

Looks like a tradition that should continue for many years to come.

Will there ever be a chance that he'll play the anthem at an Orioles game?

Thanks Dave...

Yes, hopefully this will be a tradition that will last many, many years.

And yes, his goal is indeed to make "the show" & perform @ Camden Yards one day (I'm confident he will).
