Opinions NEEDED - Mike Schmidt bat

Hey Guys and Gals - I just bought a Mike Schmidt bat. I know zero about bats and in my entire collection, I have just 2 other bats. The Seller said it was a "gamer". If you guys and gals get a chance, would you please give me your opinions? All opinions are welcomed - thanx

Looks like a good,late 1979 Schmidt to me.Rawlings changed the center brand in late '79,but didn't add batch # and year made to the knob till '80.Nice!!

This guy has a few interesting bats. They all look to be at least game issued. You got a nice bat at a good price. No risk in that.

Thanks for the info - I really don't know much about bats but your information about when the batch # and year were applied really helped.
