I have two New Era versions of the pinstriped hat the Reds wore in 1993-98. The first is a pure white version. The wool is smooth. I know for certain this version was worn on-field. However I also have an off-white or cream-colored version with coarser wool. Based on the tags it was made in 1993. Does anyone know if it was ever worn on-field? Or perhaps it was a prototype, or batting practice cap or a retail-only cap?
