I finally got the chance to check out the Braves new game used store this weekend and it's pretty neat. They have a few different racks of game worn jerseys, consisting of 2011 game jerseys, 2011 Spring Training jerseys, & 2012 Spring Training jerseys. Most bats came from 2011

Prices were typical...$1000 for Heyward, $800 for Huddy, $400 for Jurrjens, $3500 for Chipper, $2000 for Freeman, etc etc etc (the guy that worked there showed me 2 Chipper jerseys locked up that they're selling both as a package for $3000)

Game used baseballs were $25 each, helmets for $100, lineup cards for $100 and a few nice deals on Spring Training jerseys for $25. Locker nameplates were available for $5 each, and a lot of them were from 5-6 years ago.

If you ever make a visit to Turner Field, I highly suggest checking this store out. It's small but packed with memorabilia.

Thanks for the pics, Kyle. Did you surreptitiously take these on a camera phone? :p

Yup! :D I didn't bring my camera for this game so I had to settle for iPhone pics

I figured. They were a little noisy, compared to the amazing pics you normally take. :p

I appreciate your sending these, as it is always fun to see what game used different teams are offering.

What great news! I'm glad the Braves are following the Rangers' example and having stuff, including inexpensive balls, inside the stadium. That brings in new fan interest, and shares with more fans. Relying mainly on an e-mail list with lots high-priced stuff tends to keep things limited to an in-group of collectors that remains small. Besides, their CNN store's too small.

Is it available daily or only during games? If open daily, does it have a phone number?

It is inside the stadium so it is only open on game-days. I'm not sure if they have a number yet. I'll check though.

I will be at the store tomorrow to pick up a helmet and also to photograph a jersey for another forum member. If anybody would like photos of anything specific in the store, then let me know before 5pm and I'll have that done

Any helmets from any significant player. I'm looking for a braves helmet to knock off my list of wants. Uggla would be ideal. Did they have any Uggla jerseys curious to know the price on that as well.

Best helmet they had was Michael Bourn's for $200 which was signed & MLB authenticated (you can see it in the pic inside the case). They had a few others that were just common players for $100 with no hologram. The big-name player helmets with the Braves seem to be pretty hard to find.

I remember seeing an Uggla jersey; I believe it was a home jersey priced at $2000

$200 seems very fair for a Bourn helmet. Though maybe I'm biased, because he played on the Astros. :o

Is this store open again for the 2013 season? I hope to make the April 3 game. Does the CNN Braves' store have any g-u stuff?

It's open this season, I went last night. It was stocked pretty well and had a lot of the big name players game used bats and jerseys.

I was in there when WWE Raw was in town not too long ago. They have a few items, not much.

Do they have anything from Murph? Nameplate? ST jersey?

Your best bet is to contact Lisa directly. Her email is Lisa.Williams@braves.com. She can tell you what they have available for sale, and she has been pretty responsive whenever I email her.

I got there last night (April 3) at the Phillies' game. I was happy to see a number of authenticated game-used balls. Some were designated as special for various reasons (eg Strasburg-pitched; milestones games; opening days, etc.) Those were priced around $100. They also had a variety of games represented with $35 g-u balls, and a note that one could buy a ball from that day's game.

They had a sampling of other kinds of game-used items: bases from postseason and clinching games; a few bats; a few helmets; some dugout lineup cards. Some jerseys, with some noted as spring training or issued, I think, though that's not my specialty so I didn't look closely. I agree that checking with Lisa is a good idea, as I'm sure they have a lot of other stuff that's not out in the small space. The shop is right above the entrance plaza on the RF side, and seems to open only when the gates are open for games.

I went by there before last nights game. Neat little store with some fair prices. I didn't have any extra cash on me but I'll definitely be back to pick up a batting helmet.

The only unfair prices I saw were for the Uggla jerseys. $600?! Let's get real!

Lisa Williams at Lisa.williams@braves.com handles the game-used inventory. I don't know if the store has a separate e-mail, but I believe everything goes through Lisa.

I was impressed with the way the stadium store was handling postseason authenticated balls on October 4, during NLDS game 2. They brought up authenticated balls from that game during the game, as early as the 4th inning. The holograms were on them, and were in the database about 24 hours later. Those balls were hot sellers at $75, most being sold almost immediately.

Plus, the staff had learned to look up holograms in the database for the other items they had from previous games, and we're great about doing so for you. By the way, the October 4 NLDS game was the exact 44th anniversary of the first-ever NL League Champinship series game on October 4, 1969. The Braves had won the first-ever western division championship but lost that first NLCS game to the Miracle Mets. The Braves didn't win a postseason game until 1991.
