Namath Gamers

Both American Memorabilia and Heritage Auctions have Namath jerseys that end in early May. Heritage actually has two, a JETS and a RAMS. Neither of the JETS jersey's have the trimming of the sleeves that have been mentioned on this site before. Does anyone have evidence of the green Champion jerseys worn by Namath as ever not having been trimmed?? These would not even be considered "game issued", correct?? Thank you for any and all help...

I wouldn't even call these Namath jerseys "issued"...You'll have a hard time matching the fonts on the nameplate to the fonts of his jerseys during this era. One of all of these jerseys have been talked about at length if you do a search of old threads. Be prepared to pay somewhere north of $25k for a legit Namath with solid provenance, or a photomatch.
